The Church is less than 4

The Church is less than 4 blocks from my home, and I feel a particular pride in it (made contributions to several upkeep projects) though I am not a churchgoer.
But chamber music, especially innovative, likely-I'll-not-be-treated to again works -
this structure is a gem and a haven for that music.
I intentionally sat in the balcony, having attended music evenings here in years past,
and closed my eyes and listened. I heard nothing but the ironic, wispy, and calm notes of amazing musicianship.
I thank every person who worked to bring about these evenings.

Thanks

We love the chance to hear smaller groups of musicians and to be able to talk with them after the concert. We also marvel at the musicianship and talent of all the members, but we are especially fond of Steven Copes. We love the venue and have been so impressed by Christ Church and their welcoming members.
We will return for next year.

Final Concert of 2012 Winter/Spring Season

The acoustics were wonderful. I knew it would be, I grew up at Christ Church. The music chosen for this concert was beautiful and exciting. Both my wife and I really appreciated Ingolf Dahl's Concerto a tre. It really showed the talents of Burt Hara on the clarinet. Tony Ross was a great spokesperson for this wonderful music group. There are two concerns with the venue; parking and site-line. Next season, I hear, will take care of the site-line problem by using a raised stage. The parking is still a problem, especially for people who are disabled. We attended only this last concert of the season, so we really don't know about the parking problems in winter, especially in a snowy winter. But overall, an experience we will carry with us for quit a while.

accordo is great!

Wonderful season-wonderful venue. My ONLY concern is that we got very lucky this year with the lack of snow and the parking around Christ Church and that parking could become a huge issue if there is normal snow cover with attendant parking restrictions next season. Thanks for all the beautiful music, food & wine. Attended all three concerts and well worth it!

Not sure if I'll want to see

Not sure if I'll want to see them again in such a huge venue with such bad sight lines.
