The Presence of the Past: Memory, Fiction, and the Contemporary Landscape

Join author Mary Relindes Ellis (The Bohemian Flats), memoirist and travel writer Catherine Watson, and Minneapolis Park Board Commissioner Scott Vreeland for this enlightening panel discussion moderated by River Life’s Pat Nunnally about the ways the past never truly leaves the present. Through examination of fiction, memory, and historical record, our panelists seek to illuminate the present, and, by extension, possibilities for the future.
