SW!NG OUT: Vernacular Jazz Class

Join dancers from SW!NG OUT to learn authentic, foundational steps of jazz dance. The class will introduce movements innovated at Harlem's Savoy Ballroom (1930's-1950's) — and will focus on historic shapes, rhythms and grooves. This class is open to anyone with an interest in jazz dance and partnered swing. Participants are encouraged to wear supportive footwear and have clear space to move around!
