Nathan Laube in Concert

Hear internationally renowned concert organist Nathan Laube perform in the first solo organ concert on Northrop’s newly restored pipe organ. The program features Liszt’s Les Preludes; the Overture to Wagner’s Tannhäuser, Reubke’s dramatic Sonata on the 94 Psalm, and the world premiere of Preludes and Fugues in D-minor and F-major by Henry Martin, commissioned by Pipedreams.

In addition to serving as Assistant Professor of Organ at the Eastman School of Music and as International Consultant in Organ Studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Laube’s extensive recital career includes major venues spanning four continents. He was a featured performer at the 2017 National Convention of the Organ Historical Society in Minneapolis, performing a solo recital at the Basilica of St. Mary, and has been called a “brilliant artist” by the media.
