The Tarnished Brass

This sextet is comprised of University of Minnesota Marching Band alumni who have been playing together since 1967, making them the longest running brass ensemble in the country. Although time has passed and life has scattered the group across the country, the Tarnished Brass still meets twice a year to make music. We are lucky enough to catch them while they are back in Minnesota, and enjoy this historic band and their ties to our university.
