Northrop MOVES Online: Join Us Aug 4 for the 2020-21 Northrop Season Announcement

July 22, 2020

Welcome to this week’s Northrop MOVES Online. Last week, it was my great joy to share with you that we will be announcing our 2020-21 Northrop Season on Tue, Aug 4 at 7:00 pm. Today I want to share more information on what you can expect and invite you to join us for this exciting online event.

The thrilling 2020-21 Northrop Season will look like none other before it, as we welcome back some Northrop favorites and others make their Northrop debut. There will be new ways to access programming and to engage with artists, and even the opportunity to join many of them throughout the process of creating new works that will be presented in future seasons. There will be both digital and in-person events, as well as new safety protocols in place when you decide to return to Northrop.

On Tue, Aug 4 at 7:00 pm, you will hear from me, Northrop Director of Programming Kristen Brogdon, and Northrop Advisory Board Chair Jeff Bieganek. Kristen will provide an in-depth look at the upcoming season and the curatorial process, followed by a live Q&A session with some of the artists who are an integral part of next season’s events. We invite you to ask questions of the artists at this. Ticket and subscription details will be unveiled as well. The presentation is expected to last about 60 minutes, and will be captioned and recorded. Northrop will send the Zoom link and instructions on how to join us closer to the event, but please plan to attend by filling out our RSVP form today.

I encourage you to follow Northrop’s FacebookTwitter, and Instagram social media channels for updates and event details. We'll share profiles, blog posts, news stories, and interactive content about the many companies and artists included in the 2020-21 Northrop Season after we announce on Tue, Aug 4.

I am full of hope and anticipation for the day when we can welcome you back in person. In the meantime, I look forward to seeing you at the joyous announcement of Northrop’s 2020-21 Season on Tue, Aug 4.

Gratefully,

Kari Schloner Director of Northrop
