Northrop and the Twin Cities Tap Festival Present

Dorrance Dance

2019-20 Northrop Season
Oct 2019
About the Event

Jungle Blues
Three to One
with live music

After their triumphant Northrop debut in 2015 with The Blues Project, Michelle Dorrance and her remarkable company of dancers return to dispel all of our pre-conceived notions about tap dance and fill the Northrop stage with rhythm and joy! Springing from Dorrance's prodigious imagination and embodied by an ensemble of dancers as diverse and multi-faceted as tap dance itself, Myelination provides a fitting climax to this year’s Twin Cities Tap Festival.

Tickets are also on sale to the Twin Cities Tap Festival Student Showcase on Thu, Oct 17, 7:30 pm and the Concert on Fri, Oct 18, 7:30 pm at The Cowles Center. The Concert shines a spotlight on the dynamic and ever-changing art of tap dance, and will feature live music accompanying the best in local and national tap artists, including: Sarah Reich, Bril Barrett, Jeannie Hill, Evan Ruggerio Alexandria Bradley, and members of Dorrance Dance. Save 20% on tickets to the Student Showcase and Concert using promo code 5TAPS19 when ordering
