2020-21 Northrop Season

The 2020-21 Northrop Season is like no other—with new works, new ways of accessing the art, new theater-going expectations and new ways of experiencing the presentations. The season includes seven remarkable companies in the Dance Series; two renowned musicians in the Pipe Organ Music Series; a Film Series, the Northrop Centennial Commissions, and many artist engagement activities such as Performance Previews, master classes, and special virtual happy hours and Q&A sessions. While some events are online presentations, others feature on-stage performances with streaming options available offering flexibility for patrons who want to engage remotely.  In-person events in the Carlson Family Stage will follow detailed safety requirements by the State of Minnesota and University of Minnesota.

Single tickets to all online/live stream performances, Pipe Organ Music Series events in the Carlson Family Stage, and a Choose Your Own package of three or more events (based on availability) are on sale now. With a theater capacity currently limited to 250 people per guidelines from the State of Minnesota, Carlson Family Stage seats are available as part of a Choose Your Own series package only and will be offered first to subscribers and donors, divided into groups based on subscription and donation history. Choose Your Own packages for all online/live stream performances are available to anyone now. Registration for free online artist engagement events, films, previews and artist happy hours and Q&As is available now.
