University Symphony Orchestra Plays Mahler's Symphony No. 2

The University of Minnesota School of Music's University Symphony Orchestra will be joined by the University Singers, Women's and Men's Chorus, and members of the Minnesota Chorale. mezzo soprano Adriana Zabala, and soprano Linh Kauffman. Known as one of Mahler's most successful works, this epic five-movement symphony explores themes of death and resurrection. Mark Russell Smith is conductor, while Kathy Saltzman Romey and Matthew Mehaffey are choral conductors.
