Coming Soon: A New Café

In late summer 2022, Northrop will unveil a new café on the first floor, west side of Northrop—the former location of Surdyk's Café. The café will provide a great option for morning coffee, hot or cold lunches, light pre-show dining, and study or intermission snacks. Watch for details on our opening date and café menus soon!

Surdyk's Catering

Through Jun 20, 2022, Surdyk's Catering is the exclusive caterer at Northrop, providing delicious platters, hot and cold buffets, passed hors d'oeuvres, and plated meals for private events at Northrop ranging from small meetings to three-course dinners, and Surdyk's specialty, cocktail parties. Foods are prepared using locally-sourced, organic products as often as possible, and are packaged in sustainable, eco-friendly, biodegradable products. Surdyk's Concessions

Surdyk's Concessions are available during most concerts, dance performances, and various other events on the Carlson Family Stage at Northrop through Jun 14, 2022. With up to 10 bars throughout the building, Surdyk's provides a wide range of craft beers and expertly selected wine and spirits along with a variety of snacks and desserts.

To ensure student safety, Surdyk's Northrop Concessions will ID every patron ordering alcohol. Please be prepared to show ID upon requesting an alcoholic beverage, no matter your age. Surdyk's will not serve alcohol to anyone who cannot provide valid identification. Please drink responsibly and enjoy the performances! Food is not allowed in the Carlson Family Stage.
