This season radiates color, sound and soul, featuring two Northrop Centennial Commissions — including a world premiere — seven innovative dance companies and a one-of-a-kind immersive performance gathering with Catalyst Dance. The iconic Northrop pipe organ takes center stage for the grand return of silent film with live accompaniment and two inventive programs pairing the “King of Instruments” with trumpet and vocal artistry. Further expanding horizons, three visionary collaborations with Liquid Music invite audiences into transformative soundscapes that blend music, film and movement in genre-dissolving ways.
