The Northrop organ and aerial view of organ pipes

Following the Sounds of the Season: Relaxed Matinee With Organist Greg Zelek, embark on a tour of the Northrop organ! Guided by Northrop Organ Advisory Board members, attendees will get a behind the scenes look at our Aeolian-Skinner organ, complete with a visit to the nearly 7,000 pipes in the organ loft high above the Carlson Family Stage—behind the proscenium arch medallion screens—and a close-up view of the console.

This experience is available to the first 20 people who register and requires steep stair-climbing and low-heeled close-toed shoes. Participants will enter through the backstage doors on Northrop’s Ground Floor East and gather in the Hubbard Broadcasting Rehearsal Studio prior to the tour. The tour will last about 45 minutes.
