VSAM's 2023 Tết Show: Beyond the Starry Night

The VSAM Tết Show is a student-run event celebrating the Vietnamese Lunar New Year. This upcoming New Year, concludes the end of the Year of the Tiger (Dần) and brings in the Year of the Cat (Mão). VSAM strives to showcase this beautiful tradition to the greater community through exuberant performances including a skit, live singing performances, traditional and modern dances, traditional and modern fashion, and the Lion Dance (Múa lân).

This year's theme, Beyond the Starry Night (Ban Đêm Bầu Trời Đầy Sao), focuses on the abundance of stars in the night sky, where each star represents the memories, goals, and others that are ahead of us. Looking beyond the stars in front of us, we continue to find bigger dreams and aspirations as well as the memories long forgotten.
