The Northrop organ

2022-23 Northrop Music Series

Every event in this series features Northrop’s historic Aeolian-Skinner Opus 892 pipe organ—one of the last remaining concert-hall pipe organs in the United States. It includes a celebration of organist Dean Billmeyer by GTCYS in his 41st and final year as University of Minnesota Organist and Professor of Music, and the Northrop debut of three soloists—two accompanying silent film classics—plus a Twin Cities Holiday tradition appearing for the first time on the Carlson Family Stage.
